Yayoiken's cold soup is one of a series of set meals featuring local cuisine from various regions of Japan, and this year marks the 14th year since its launch in 2009 that it has become a popular summer product. This year, the cool and refreshing set meal that blows away the summer heat is back again, this time with more power.

The cold soup is a cold miso soup with tofu, cucumber, and ice. It is a local dish filled with the wisdom of Miyazaki, a southern prefecture, and can be eaten cold and refreshing even when one's appetite is low during the summer.

The miso is a blend of two types that have been aged for different periods of time.
