Excelsior Café will launch new "EXE Gohan" dishes "Ratatouille with Mascarpone and Summer Vegetables," "Coconut Keema Curry," and "Coconut Keema Curry with Pakuchi and Colorful Vegetables" on July 7, 2012. In response to customers who want to eat well even at cafes, the new products use minor grains rice mixed with Japanese Koshihikari rice, black rice, glutinous barley, and other grains.

Ratatouille with Mascarpone and Summer Vegetables

Ratatouille with four kinds of summer vegetables (tomato, eggplant, zucchini, and green bell pepper) is served with a hearty roasted chicken. The base has a refreshing taste with a hint of sourness from the tomatoes, but it changes to a creamy flavor by mixing in the mascarpone topping. You can enjoy it until the end without getting bored. The price including tax is 780 yen inside the restaurant and 766 yen for To go.

Coconut Keema Curry

Keema Curry with coconut milk powder. The added flavor of coconut gives it a spicy yet creamy taste. By mixing the eggplant, tomato, and cheese toppings with a half-boiled egg, you can enjoy a change in taste and texture. The price, including tax, is 800 yen in the restaurant and 786 yen for To go. Half-boiled egg is not included in To go (no change in price).

Coconut keema curry topped with pakuchi. Coconut and pakuchi go well together, and the cool aroma and unique flavor of pakuchi gives the whole dish a punch. The price including tax is 820 yen in the restaurant and 805 yen for To go. Half-boiled egg is not included with To go (no change in price).
