Melon & Granita" will be available at Royal Host as "Melon & Granita" from June 29, 2012, including "Burnt Melon Brulee Parfait," "Melon Yogurt Germani," "Fresh Melon & Granita," "Fresh Melon Bowl Parfait," "Chiffon Tasted in a Whole Shortcake - Melon" and "Petit Melon Granita" will be available from June 29.

This is the fifth year for this seasonal dessert using fresh melon. It combines "domestic melon" with the Italian version of shaved ice called "granita.

Burnt Melon Brulee Parfait

A "melon" version of the popular brûlée parfait. Underneath the brulee cream is fresh melon, salted caramel ice cream, cold granita, apricot jelly, pecan nuts, and more. You can enjoy the flavors and textures of the various ingredients. Priced at 1,188 yen (tax included, same below).

A summer-only yogurt Germani with melon and cassis ice cream and a refreshing mint flavor. Price: 1,023 yen.

Fluffy chiffon sandwiched between juicy melon and whipped cream, topped with custard whipped cream. With caramel sauce and almonds. Price: 1,133 yen.

Petit Melon Granita

Weekday lunch time specials, the Grand Menu special set of petit desserts, and the Petit Happy Dessert Set can be replaced with the Petit Melon Granita for an additional 363 yen. This little parfait combines melon granita and apricot bean curd, making it a delightful after-dinner treat.
