Nakau will offer a seasonal menu item called "Sudachi Oroshi Udon" (udon noodles with grated radish) from June 23 through the end of September. The price is 490 yen for a regular size (including tax) and 350 yen for a small size (including tax).
Naka-U Sudachi Oroshi Udon
One of Nakau's seasonal specials available every year, this dish has been popular since its first appearance in 2000. The udon is a thin slice of udon with a smooth texture, topped with Nakau's special soy sauce sauce and served with green onions and grated daikon radish.
(The (medium) size udon is served with a whole piece of Tokushima Prefecture's sudachi (Japanese citrus fruit), while the (small) size udon is served with a half-cut piece of sudachi squeezed into the udon. The subtle spiciness of freshly grated daikon grated in the restaurant and the refreshing sourness of the fragrant sudachi make it a perfect dish for the coming summer season.
It is also available in combination with a rice bowl or as a set. In addition to eat-in udon, you can also order To go udon. The udon noodles with grated sudachi will be available at 462 Nakau restaurants, excluding some stores.
