Some of Toraya's directly-managed stores sell "special order items" in-store on the 15th of every month. On June 15, mizu-yokan "Silk and Deep Purple" will be available.

It is said that the flavor of azuki beans is preserved and the addition of kuzu (arrowroot starch) gives it a pleasant texture on the tongue. It is also poured into a bowl so that it can be cut into desired sizes and enjoyed. It can be enjoyed either as it is or chilled. Since it is freshly prepared, the soft and smooth texture and freshness can be enjoyed.
