FamilyMart will release a new hot snack product, "Zakujaga Crispy Chicken" on June 7. The new product is part of the "more delicious" concept, one of the five keywords that FamilyMart has been working on since last year. The price is 149 yen (160 yen including tax).

Zakujaga Crispy Chicken

The "Crispy Chicken" is a new product that has been developed under the title of "The problem child that surpasses the Famichiki! " and was launched in March 2021. It is FamilyMart's new standard chicken with a total of more than 91 million servings sold (as of the end of April 2022).

This time, "Zakujaga Crispy Chicken" was released as an "evolutionary crispy chicken. The potato-based batter is dipped into the chicken meat and deep-fried to create a new type of crispy texture.


The use of dried potatoes with low moisture content in the batter allows the crispy texture to be maintained over time. The lightly salted flavor is designed to maximize the natural flavor of the potato.

The price including tax is indicated at 8% of the consumption tax rate.
