Kirin Gogo-no-Kocha for HAPPINESS will be released on June 21 as the second product in the "Afternoon Tea HAPPINESS Project. 500ml (16.91us fl oz) PET bottles will be available for a limited quantity at an estimated price of 140 yen (excluding tax).

Kirin Gogo-no-Kocha for HAPPINESS Kumamoto Strawberry Tea

This fruit tea (0.1% fruit juice) combines black tea from Kumamoto Prefecture with the elegant sweetness of Kumamoto strawberries "Yubeni". For every bottle sold, 3.9 yen (thank you) will be donated as a "domestic reconstruction support product" under the Afternoon Black Tea brand.

The package features a bold, round PET bottle with a "bow ribbon," the symbol of this product, to express gratitude and connection. The design conveys the passion for the Afternoon Tea HAPPINESS Project by describing the details of the product's support for reconstruction. A hidden design with a heart ribbon tied in a bow on the back of the package is also available in limited quantities.


Kirin Gogo-no-Kocha for HAPPINESS Kumamoto Strawberry Tea, the first product launched under the project last year, was well received for its refreshing sweetness and strawberry flavor, and out of more than 580 limited edition products (including limited quantity and limited time offerings) launched by the company since 2014, it was the highest selling product (per store) in its first week on sale. The highest sales amount (per store) was recorded. The company's limited-edition products (including limited-quantity products and limited-time-only products) launched since 2014 recorded the highest sales value (per store) in the first week of sales.

In December 2021, a total of 38,704,630 yen was donated to various organizations in Kumamoto Prefecture. The donations are being effectively utilized by each organization to support Kumamoto reconstruction efforts.
