The Hydrangea Parfait will be offered at each Ito Kuemon teahouse from May 13. Prices are 1,390 yen for a single item, 1,790 yen for a tea set, and 1,990 yen for a hydrangea tea party (all tax included).

Uji, Kyoto, where Ito Kyuemon has a store, is home to Mimuroto-dera Temple, a famous hydrangea temple known for its hydrangeas, which attracts many tourists during the rainy season. The teahouse during this time of year can be a wait of 180 minutes or more.

Hydrangea Parfait

The Hydrangea Parfait, which has been offered since 2013 and is now in its 10th year, is the most popular seasonal parfait with an image of hydrangea drenched in rain dew, including matcha hydrangea kinton, hydrangea-colored crushed jelly, leaf-shaped green tea cookies and blueberries.

In addition, as a special offer, orders of hydrangea parfait (single item, tea set, or hydrangea tea party) will receive an original "hydrangea coaster" from Kyuemon Ito.

The tea set and hydrangea tea party include a choice of hot or cold Uji matcha, hot or iced Uji matcha kapuchii, or iced green tea.
