Kappa Ebisen French Salad Flavor

The French Salad Flavor was introduced in 1986 as the first flavor change in the Kappa Ebisen series. It was inspired by the shrimp kakiage, a childhood favorite of Calbee's founder, and was created as a tart flavor that tasted delicious when squeezed with citrus. It is characterized by its crispy and light texture, which is made of a thinner dough than the regular product.

In 2022, the French salad flavor has been enhanced compared to the previous year to satisfy not only adult women but also children. The flavor of the season is said to be well suited to the season, with a moderate acidity and savory vegetable flavor that lingers. The package has a cute design with a fresh yellow base and a large photo of the salad.
