To commemorate the 55th anniversary of Morinaga's Choco Balls, Morinaga Seika will be offering a variety of "gold" themed Choco Balls with gold leaf Choco Bis, Dozen with gold caramel, and Twig with gold soybean flour flavoring for a limited time starting May 17, 2012. The "Akaritsuki Choco Ball" will be on sale for a limited time starting May 17.

Akaritsuki Choco Ball [Choco Biscuit with Gold Leaf].

Crunchy plain biscuits are coated with chocolate covered with gold leaf. The company's technology has been used to mold the chocolate so that the gold leaf can be seen beautifully. Priced at 324 yen (tax included, same as below).

Ariatsuki Dace [Golden Caramel].

A dozen with a special caramel color that expresses gold. This white chocolate is characterized by the milky richness of the caramel and the aftertaste created by Lorraine rock salt. The package is adorable with Kyoro-chan popping out of the Darth brand logo. The price is 162 yen.

Arattsuki Twig [Golden Kinako Flavor].

Aromatic chocolate made with the special Japanese ingredient "Kinako (golden soybean flour)" and the flavor of rice puffs are a perfect match. The chocolate has a natural golden image that respects the color of the kinako. The 44-pack package is priced at 216 yen, and the 116g (4.09oz) "Arattsuki Koeda [Golden Kinako Flavor] Tea Time Pack" is open price.
