Cold Brew Earl Grey" from AHMAD TEA

Tominaga Boeki, the exclusive importer of the British black tea brand "Ahmad Tea," will release "Cold Brew Earl Grey," a black tea that can be easily enjoyed with water for summer, on May 13. The price is 540 yen (tax included).

Cold brew" refers to brewing tea or coffee in "mizudashi" (water-drizzled) conditions. Mizudashi" is a low-temperature brewing method in which water is used instead of hot water. It is a new coffee trend that originated in the U.S. and has been gaining attention and popularity since around 2015. Since its first appearance in the spring/summer 2018 season, Ahmad Tea's Cold Brew series has been well received as a summer staple.

Cold Brew Earl Grey

This year, the fifth year since the Cold Brew series was launched, a new flavor, "Cold Brew Earl Grey," was released as a product to further revitalize the summer tea market. Earl Grey" will be added to the two fruit flavors, "Peach & Passion Fruit" and "Lemon & Lime". Earl Grey, the most popular of all Ahmad teas with its gorgeous bergamot aroma and flavor, is now available exclusively in a watered-down version.
