Cocos "Cocotte Hamburger Plate with Asparagus and Thick Cheese"

Cocos will launch new asparagus-themed products, "Asparagus and Thick Cheese Cocotte Hamburger Plate" and "Asparagus and Smoked Bacon Carbonara," on May 1 as part of the third installment of the "Seasonal Hitosara" monthly fair featuring seasonal vegetables (see Yamaguchi Ube Airport Store). Sales are scheduled to end on May 31.

Seasonal Hitosara

Responding to customers' requests for more seasonal products using seasonal ingredients, the fair introduces products themed on seasonal vegetables every month. The menu will also include the following items.

Cocotte hamburger plate with asparagus and rich cheese

This menu item combines Cocos' classic "cocotte hamburger steak" with asparagus, which is in season. The juicy hamburger steak is topped with a rich cheese sauce and colorfully topped with asparagus, bell peppers, snap peas, and other ingredients. The rich sweetness of the asparagus is mixed with the melt-in-your-mouth cheese sauce. In addition to the hamburger steak, this one-plate meal includes a baguette, salad, and natural water jelly. The price is 1,089 yen (tax included).

Carbonara with Asparagus and Smoked Bacon

A rich carbonara with smoked bacon and asparagus tossed in a cream sauce and garnished with granapadano cheese and egg yolks. The aromatic bacon, which is smoked for twice as long as usual (company comparison), the rich cream sauce, and Grana Padano cheese all go perfectly with the sweetness of the asparagus. The combination of yellow, green and pink colors is spring-like, and even the appearance is seasonal. Priced at 869 yen (tax included). The pasta can be changed to low-sugar fettuccine with a glutinous texture for an additional 110 yen. The low-sugar pasta does not use durum semolina flour.
