The April item is "Tiramisu Shortcake with Takakura Biwa (loquat) from Okagaki-cho, Fukuoka Prefecture. The loquat has been enjoyed as a healthy fruit since ancient times, as it is mentioned in a 3,000-year-old Indian Buddhist scripture as a plant that cures all illnesses. 100-year-old Takakura loquats grown in Okagaki-cho, Fukuoka Prefecture, are characterized by their mouth-watering sweetness. It is combined with bittersweet espresso syrup and mascarpone cream. The loquat and mascarpone are a perfect match in this tiramisu shortcake.
