Jiichiro "Tea Tigre" and "Tea Roll Cake

Tea Tigre" and "Tea Roll Cake" using aromatic Earl Grey will be available at Jiichiro on April 22. Both will be discontinued as soon as they are gone.

Tea Tigre

Tigre is a French pastry made with chocolate chips kneaded into the dough and filled with chocolate. The name "tigre," which means tiger in French, comes from the fact that the chocolate chips in the dough look like a tiger pattern.

Jiichiro "Tigre for Tea"

Jiichiro developed a tea-flavored Tigre. After repeated trials with several kinds of black tea, Earl Grey was selected for its elegant flavor with a hint of bergamot. The rich bitter chocolate poured over the chocolate is blended with orange oil to add a lightness to the flavor. The product is made to softly spread the flavors of elegant black tea and refreshing orange.

The price is 1,000 yen (tax included) for a set of three. The sale will end as soon as all are sold out.

Black Tea Roll Cake

Based on Jiichiro's roll cake, Earl Grey powder is kneaded into the dough and concentrated Earl Grey extract is added to the cream. One bite of the cake will leave you with a rich black tea flavor in your mouth with a clean and light aftertaste. The taste makes you want to take another bite, and then another.
