Mos Burger "2022 Awaji Island Onion Festival".

The "2022 Awaji Island Onion Festival" will be held at Mos Burger restaurants in the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama, and Hyogo prefectures) from April 25 through mid-May (except some locations). The "Awajishima Tamanegi Burger with Japanese Soy Sauce" and "Awajishima Tamanegi Burger with Japanese Soy Sauce and Cheese" will be on sale.

2022 Awaji Island Onion Festival

The 2022 Awaji Island Onion Festival has been held annually during this season when onions are in season since its first event in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions in 2016; in 2017, it was held for the first time in Hyogo Prefecture, and from 2019, the target area will be expanded to the Kansai region to sell products using new onions produced on Awaji Island.

Following last year, this year, "Awajishima Tamanegi Burger with Japanese Style Soy Sauce" and "Awajishima Tamanegi Burger with Japanese Style Soy Sauce and Cheese" will be available for a limited time only in the Kansai region, where sales requests have been strong.

Awaji Island Tamanegi Burger with Japanese Soy Sauce

The burger is made with plenty of raw fresh onions, which are especially sweet, fresh, soft, and suitable for raw consumption, among the onions grown on Awaji Island. The burger is topped with green leaves, a juicy patty (meat), original onion burger sauce, sliced fresh Awaji Island onions, and more onion burger sauce, topped with bonito flakes made from kare-bushi (dried bonito flakes).

The original onion burger sauce is based on soy sauce and enriched with cranberry juice. It is a refreshing Japanese-style sauce. The price is 420 yen (tax included).
