In line with the expanding market for Western-style chocolate, Meiji will release "M's Bar Rum Olay" and "M's Bar Brandy Olay" on April 12 in Japan to allow consumers to enjoy authentic Western-style chocolate. 4-packs, estimated price 216 yen each (tax included).

In recent years, the market for Western-style chocolate has been on the rise, but most of its products are limited-time offerings that are only available during the fall and winter seasons. However, the company conducted a survey on Western liquor chocolates and found that many people wanted Western liquor chocolates in the spring and summer months as well, so M's Bar Rum Olay from 2019 and M's Bar Brandy Olay from 2020 are being sold in the spring and summer months.

This year, two more Western liquor chocolates will be available for the spring/summer season. Chill them in the refrigerator to enjoy the crispy texture of the chocolate.
