Ryugu Gozen

Tonden "Ryugu Gozen" and "Otohime Gozen

The main dish at Ryugu Gozen is a gorgeous looking simmered sea bream. The dish is made with sea bream from Miyagi Prefecture. A whole sea bream is simmered in Tonden's original sweet and spicy thick sauce, which enhances the moderate fat content of the meat and makes it soft and fluffy.

The mini-donburi set comes with a bowl of rice topped with kama-age shirasu (dried young sardines) from Wakayama Prefecture. It is said that the traditional taste of Kishu Wakayama, where the shirasu is deep-fried using only salt, was used for this dish, sticking to the traditional method of production. The set also comes with sashimi, tempura, tonden chawanmushi, miso soup, and dessert. The price is 2,948 yen (tax included, same below).

In addition to the plump and chewy botan shrimp, customers can enjoy fatty chutoro (medium fatty tuna), thick scallops, popular salmon, and Tonden's special seasoned salmon roe. It also comes with simmered dishes, sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi, miso soup, and dessert made at the company's factory in Hokkaido. The selling price is 3,278 yen.
