Gyoza no Oushou: Hot and spicy vegetable noodles

Gyoza no Ousho "Hot Cabbage Noodles".

The product was first sold at some stores in Kyoto Prefecture and received favorable reviews, so it is announced that it will be expanded to stores nationwide. It is marketed as "yakuzen (herbal) ramen" with an ingenious balance of vegetable flavor and spices.

The soup is made with two types of miso, and features the refreshing numbness of Sichuan pepper and the spicy flavor of "spicy raayu," a stimulant containing sansho (a type of Japanese pepper), chenpi (a type of red pepper), and red chili peppers. The flavor of minced meat, chives, Aomori garlic, and sesame seeds are made to stimulate the appetite. The aroma of spices such as five-spice powder (wu xiang fen) is also considered an addictive dish.

In principle, the hot spicy noodles are sold at "Gyoza no Ousho" and "GYOZA OHSHO" stores nationwide, but some stores are excluded.
