Cocos will hold its second monthly fair "Seasonal Hitosara" from April 1 to 30, featuring "Yuba-an Cocotte Hamburger Steak with Bamboo Shoots and Rape Blossoms" and "Cream Pasta with Bamboo Shoots and Rape Blossoms - Sakura Shrimp Aromatic Bisque Sauce".

Cocos "Season's Dish"

Bamboo Shoots and Rape Blossoms with Yuba Bean Paste Cocotte Hamburger Steak" is a combination of cocotte hamburger steaks and rape blossoms with cocotte hamburger steaks, a standard menu item at Cocos. The gentle flavor of bonito and kelp in the Japanese-style bean paste enhances the flavors of the fragrant fried bamboo shoots and the mildly bitter rapeseed blossoms. The fluffy yuba leaves, which are richly covered with the Japanese-style bean paste, and the juicy hamburger steak overflowing with meat juices are said to offer a delicious taste that spreads in your mouth every time you bite into it. The price is 979 yen (tax included).

Bamboo Shoots and Rape Blossom Cream Pasta with Sakura Shrimp Bisque Sauce" is a dish filled with bamboo shoots, rape blossoms and scallions. Rape blossoms and scallions are sauteed in garlic oil, and crispy bamboo shoots are fried and tossed in a cream sauce. The richly flavored sakura shrimps are arranged in a gorgeous arrangement, and a thick bisque sauce with the flavor of prawns poured over the top adds depth of flavor to the whole dish. The pink of the sakura shrimps and the dark green of the rape blossoms give the dish a spring-like appearance. The selling price is 979 yen.

In principle, all of these items will be available at all Cocos stores, with some exceptions. The fair will not be held at the Yamaguchi Ube Airport branch.
