Akagi Nyugyo is introducing an ice cream product called "Kaju Butter Ice Cream (5-pack)," which will be sold in limited quantities nationwide from March 29, 2012. Each pack contains 5 ice cream bars of 40 ml each, and is priced at 378 yen (tax included).

Gnawing Butter Ice Cream (5-pack)

This is the reintroduction of the "Biting Butter Ice Cream" released in 2021 in a family pack. Fermented butter from Hokkaido is added to give it a full-bodied taste and unique flavor. The calorie count is 77 kcal per serving.

When it was previously sold as a stand-alone product, it became a hot topic mainly on SNS, and according to Akagi Nyugyo, it greatly exceeded the initial sales forecast. In recognition of its popularity, the product received the "Excellent Hit Award" at the "40th Food Hit Award" held by the Japan Food Journal in 2021. En-En-Ebi also reviewed the nibbled butter ice cream.

The family pack is designed to be shared with family members, but is also suitable for those who want to eat a lot by themselves.
