Consumption of tofu has increased due to the Corona disaster and the growing demand for eating at home. Growing awareness of food safety and the desire for "a little luxury in one's diet" have also increased the need for domestically produced ingredients.

Imuraya, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in the tofu business in 2022, has adopted a new production method that combines the tofu production know-how it has cultivated over the years with new production technology.

The soybeans used are 100% "Tama Homare" from Shiga Prefecture, which has a high sucrose content and a strong sweet taste. The flavor of the tamahomare is enhanced by combining it with "Shima no Kirameki" nigari from Okinawa Prefecture. A new manufacturing method that focuses on temperature control during production results in a smooth, rich flavor.

At first, it is recommended to eat it as it is without any sauce. If desired, drizzle olive oil or rock salt over the tofu to enhance its flavor.

It has a long shelf life of 60 days in refrigeration, so it is convenient to keep in stock. The product contains two 150g (5.29oz) packages, priced at 213 yen (tax included).
