The shape is slightly more elongated than the old image of o-hagi so that children and women can easily chew it with a bamboo skewer. This shape allows you to enjoy the best balance of mochi and anko (red bean paste).

Mochi made from Hokkaido's Shirotori glutinous rice has a firm and chewy texture. The mochi is cooked with ume (plum) to bring out the sweetness of the sweet bean paste.

The azuki beans are made from 100% Hokkaido azuki beans. The kinako (soybean flour) flavor consists of a rice cake filled with a large amount of sweet bean paste and sprinkled with kinako (soybean flour). The tsubuan flavor is simply a rice cake covered with a whole bean-jam filling. The ohagi are cute and easy to eat, but very satisfying.

The Paku and Mogu Odakyu Machida store will be open from March 12 to March 24.
