Hanami Anmitsu

Funabashiya's Anmitsu is very popular for its crispy agar and the aroma of the sea, and in March, the seasonal "Ohanami Anmitsu" will be available. It consists of agar (agar), red peas, sakura leaves, shiratama (white bean curd), kiwi, strawberries, kuzumochi (kudzu mochi), and sakura anmitsu (sweetened sakura bean paste). What at first glance looks like a sakura mochi is sakura an, which is white bean paste kneaded with salted sakura leaves. It is topped with kiwi and strawberries for a colorful, spring-like finish. You can choose either the rich and thick molasses or the light and refreshing white molasses.

It also includes our signature kuzumochi and shiratama, making it a dish that is not only gorgeous but also very satisfying. Funabashiya's kuzumochi is a fermented food made by fermenting wheat starch with lactic acid bacteria. Why not enjoy this Japanese sweet while feeling the cherry blossoms, not only as a souvenir for cherry blossom viewing, but also for indoor cherry blossom viewing?
