Morinaga's "Carre de Chocolat" series of chocolates will be available in a floral design package in collaboration with "Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design", a brand by flower artist Nicolai Bergmann, for a limited time from March 1.

This time, each of the seven flavors of the "Carre de Chocolat" series will have its own unique package. These include "Carre de Chocolat [French Milk]", "Carre de Chocolat [Classic Bitter]", "Carre de Chocolat [Madagascar White]", "Carre de Chocolat [Cacao 70]", "Carre de Chocolat [Cacao 88]", "Carre de Chocolat [Pistachio]", and "Carre de Chocolat [Pistachio]". Carre de Chocolat [Cacao 70 & Cranberry]".

They are designed to be gorgeous gifts for Mother's Day on May 8. By scanning the two-dimensional code on the back of the lid of each package with a smartphone camera, users can view a virtual sommelier's description of the perfect wine marriage for them. The sommelier will be voice actor Daisuke Namikawa, and the user will be able to enjoy "Carre de Chocolat" and wine with his voice. The estimated price is 400 yen (including tax) for "Carre de Chocolat [Pistachio]" and "Carre de Chocolat [Cacao 70 & Cranberry]", and 356 yen for the others.
