Calbee will release "Otona no Jagarico Chili Meita Cheese Flavor" and "Otona no Edamarico Black Pepper Flavor", perfect snacks for home drinking, at convenience stores first on February 21. They will go on sale at non-convenience stores on March 7. The estimated price is around 150 yen (tax included).

Otona no Jagarico Chili Meita Cheese Flavor

In developing this new product, we selected mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and cheese, two of the top-selling flavors among Jagarico's limited-time products and popular snacks for alcoholic beverages. The moment you put it in your mouth, you can feel the spiciness of the red pepper and the flavor of the mentaiko at the same time. The richness and mildness of the cheese spreads as you chew, matching the lingering spicy flavor.


Regular "Jagarico" is flavored by kneading flavors into the steamed potato dough, but "Otona no Jagarico" has an additional coating process. You can enjoy the two-step process: the coated taste that you feel the moment you put it in your mouth, and the kneaded aftertaste that spreads as you chew.

Adult Edamariko Black Pepper Flavor

Black pepper flavored "Edamariko" will be available for a limited time in 2020. It was sold for a limited time only in 2020, and was highly praised for its spicy accent that goes perfectly with alcohol.


The flavor of the black pepper has been doubled compared to the previous product. Two types of black peppers with different particle sizes are used, and the moment you put it in your mouth, the fine-grained black pepper spreads fluently, and the more you bite into it, the more you feel the tangy coarse-grained black pepper.
