7-ELEVEN Premium "Made with 100% Japanese Pork" steamed meat buns were found and purchased at the chilled section of Ito-Yokado. The price was 321 yen (tax included).


The name is simply "steamed meat buns," but they are miniature, measuring about 6 cm in diameter by 2.5 cm in height. It is a size that can be picked up and eaten with fingers.


When heating, wrap the product softly in plastic wrap, place it on a heatproof plate, and microwave it in a short time (15 seconds at 500W per product).


When you break it open and eat it, you will find a moist and fluffy dough and a filling with a good taste and texture of meat. The dough and filling are well balanced, and even though it is small, it can be enjoyed as a steamed bun.



It is not as fun to bite into as a regular-sized bun, but it has the advantage of keeping your mouth clean and allowing you to reach for the filling from the first bite. The portion size can be adjusted, which comes in handy for those times when eating a whole bun is a bit too much for your stomach!
