Zuagarico "Jagarico thin type (tentative name) salad

From the long-selling brand "Jagarico", a new product "Jagarico Hoso-i-Yatsu (tentative name) Salad" will be on sale for a limited time, with a thinner stick than usual to enjoy the light texture of "crispy, polypoly". It will be on sale from February 1 until early March. Limited to Lawson stores. Price: 152 yen (tax included).

In order to further evolve the long-selling "Jagarico" and make it more enjoyable for more people, we started to develop a new product for young women, which was the original target of the product. In order to make it easier for women to eat Jagarico in a smart way, we planned the first ever "thin stick" in the history of Jagarico.

We solved the problem of the stick breaking or bending during the manufacturing process through trial and error because of its thinness, and over a period of about four years, we achieved a "thin stick" that is about 75% thicker than the regular size (about 7mm in diameter).

While maintaining the stick's firmness and the characteristics of Jagarico, such as being easy to pick up and keep clean on your hands, the new stick has a light, crispy texture that makes it easy to eat in a smart and comfortable way.

The product will be available for test sales at Lawson stores nationwide. Through the test sales, we will verify opinions and purchase trends, and also conduct a Twitter campaign to solicit official product names for the product, which is currently a tentative name, in preparation for its launch.
