Lotte will release "Kotorippu Petit Chocolate Pie (Higashide Coffee Shop's Pudding)" and "Kotorippu Funwari Petit Cake (Coffee Opera's Gateau Chocolate)" on February 1, 2012, the fifth collaboration with the popular travel guidebook series "Kotorippu. This year's theme is a retro coffee shop from the olden days.

This petit chocolate pie is inspired by the taste of the popular "pudding" menu at the Higashide Coffee Shop, a beloved coffee shop in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. Caramel pudding cream is sandwiched between caramel cake. The pudding has a clean, egg-like texture and is combined with bitter caramel to express the taste of Higashide Coffee Shop's pudding.
