The sweet and sour strawberry sauce made from Tochigi prefecture's Tochiotome is wrapped in a mild bean paste made with salted cherry blossoms, pickled cherry leaves, and fresh cream, and finished with a soft rice cake with a hint of vanilla flavor.

Chitose's Sakura Strawberry Mochi" is available from the long-established Japanese sweets shop "Tsukiji Chitose". The price is 1,080 yen (tax included) for a pack of eight. This is a limited edition product and will be sold out as soon as they are gone.
