I actually tried Isomaru Suisan's lunch menu item, Kaisen Kore Don. The price is 1,087 yen (tax included, same below).
Kaisen Kovore-donThe "Kaisen Koubore-don" is a bowl of rice topped with so much seafood that it almost spills out of the bowl. The ingredients include tuna red meat, negitoro, yellowtail, shrimp, egg, salmon, crab meat, fish roe, boiled conger eel, and cucumber.
There was so much seafood that it overflowed the edge of the bowl! The large boiled conger eel in the center of the bowl is also impressive.
The sashimi is also moderately thick and well worth eating. It's nice to be able to enjoy a variety of ingredients one bite at a time. The rice is also served well, so one bowl is quite satisfying. This is the perfect lunch for those days when you want to splurge a bit.
Salmon tri-color rice bowlFor those who love salmon, we also recommend the "Salmon Sanshoku Don", also on the lunch menu! It is a bowl of rice topped with salmon, salmon negitoro, and salmon roe. The price is 978 yen.
Three kinds of ingredients that are popular among children. The combination of salmon roe, which pops and spreads its flavor, and salmon with plenty of fat is the best! It is also recommended to eat it as is without soy sauce.
Isomaru Suisan's lunch menu "Kaisen Kore Don" and "Salmon Sanshoku Don" are recommended for days when you want to splurge a little. If you're having trouble choosing a lunch, by all means!
