On January 28, Chateraise Marché Kofu Ushiroya will open in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, focusing on freshly made deliciousness. Hours of operation are from 9:00 to 21:00.

This new Chateraise store is based on the concept of a "marché (market)" where you can enjoy freshly made, freshly made delicacies. There are four specialty stores (cakes, Western confectionaries, Japanese confectionaries, and aged sweets) with a freshly-made workshop, and an eat-in space on the second floor where you can relax and enjoy the sweets you have purchased.

Freshly squeezed Mont Blanc using Japanese chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture

Freshly squeezed in front of the customer, this new mont blanc is only available at the Chateraise Marche. It is a melt-in-your-mouth pastry filled with pure fresh cream from Hokkaido and sweetened chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture, topped with rich milk ice cream made with fresh milk from a contract farm and pure fresh cream, and finished with a generous amount of paste made with 100% Japanese chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture. The rich flavor of Japanese chestnuts will fill your mouth. The price is 1,100 yen (tax included, same as below). Eat-in only.

Mitarashi (roasted rice dumplings)

These dumplings are carefully baked over an open flame upon receiving an order, and then dipped into the sauce while still hot. The dumpling dough is made from freshly milled and milled Koshihikari rice from Yamanashi Prefecture, cooked in Hakushu's famous water, and dipped in a richly flavored sauce. The price is 129 yen per dumpling.

Aged Brandy Cake

This brandy cake is soaked in a generous amount of Fine-Champagne cognac, wrapped in a cloth, and aged in a cellar. The slow aging process eliminates the excess alcohol content, resulting in a mellow and moist cake with a concentrated cognac flavor. The cake is aged for three years and is limited to 20 pieces. The price is 10,800 yen.
