Bread like oranges

16 second-year students from the Department of Food Science and the Department of Life Sciences of Shizuoka Agricultural High School participated in the product development of "bread like mikan". From May of this year, about 6 students will start from May of this year to devise a product concept and a package design from the desire to have many people taste the oranges of Shizuoka prefecture, which is one of the leading production areas in Japan, and to energize the local area. It took a month.

We are particular about the appearance, and topped the biscuit dough with a color like oranges with pumpkin seeds. The dough contains whipped cream and cheese cream made from Shizuoka Prefecture's Mikkabi Mikan and Shizuoka Prefecture's Tanna Milk. The price is 160 yen (tax included).

Chubu Lawson "Bread like oranges"

Lawson signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Shizuoka Prefecture in September 2008. We are working to revitalize the region by focusing on the development of young people and the promotion of local production for local consumption. This initiative was realized by an introduction from Shizuoka Prefecture. This is the first product development with the school.
