Marunaga Confectionery will release "Aisumanju Dessert Sachertorte", an ice cream that expresses the deliciousness of rich chocolate cake.

"Aisumanju Dessert Sachertorte" is an ice bar where chocolate ice cream with chocolate crunch and chocolate sauce is coated with chocolate with cookie crunch. It was planned and developed as a new product of the Aismanju Dessert series, with the image of the traditional Austrian-Vienna cake "Sachertorte".


A proper amount of small black cookie crunch is added to the chocolate used for coating to express the rough texture peculiar to Sachertorte. It contains plenty of chocolate bean paste, which is the first time in the Aisu Manju series, instead of red bean paste. The sweetness of chocolate ice cream is modest, and the overall balance is rich but not too sweet. Belgian chocolate is used for chocolate bean paste and chocolate ice cream. A sweet and sour apricot sauce adds an accent to the taste.

The price is 172 yen (tax included). Available nationwide from November 22nd.
