Marunaga Confectionery will release ice cream "Omochi Kinako Black Mitsumochi". Japanese-style cup ice cream with mochi, black honey sauce, and fragrant kinako on top of kinako ice cream.

Omochi Kinako Black Mitsumochi

"Omochi Kinako Kuromitsu Mochi" is a Japanese-style cup ice cream with kinako ice cream, black honey sauce, and fragrant kinako. This is a new product supervised by Eitaro Sohonpo, a long-established store founded in the first year of Bunsei (1818).

The black honey sauce uses a special sauce that uses the black honey of Eitaro Sohonpo. You can enjoy the taste of traditional black honey using brown sugar from Okinawa prefecture. In addition, pursuing the taste of kinako ice cream that makes you want to eat one after another, the sweetness and saltiness of kinako ice cream are well-balanced so that the elegant black honey sauce and the flavor of kinako match.

The mochi is made from Marunaga Confectionery's original method. It has a soft texture even under freezing.


It will be released from October 5th in advance of some convenience stores. The estimated price is 194 yen (tax included). It will be on sale from November 1st except at convenience stores.
