Sapporo Winter Story appeared in 1988 as a pioneer of seasonal products by Sapporo Breweries. A classic winter beer that has been around for over 30 years.

The 2021 version is characterized by the deep richness and sharp aftertaste of the time it was released in 1988. It is devised so that you can look back on various events and people that have existed for 33 years together with the taste of the winter story and enjoy it. Umami is extracted by adding hops in the middle of the boiling process, resulting in a mellow taste. Alcohol content is 5.5% and calories are 46kcal per 100ml (3.38us fl oz).

The package features the characters from Shakespeare's play "The Winter's Tale," which is the origin of the name. Every year, it is introduced as a long-selling product that can only be enjoyed in this season.
