The "Godiva Monthly Chef's Selection" developed by Godiva chef Chocolatier with chefs from all over Japan will start in June on a monthly basis. As the first step, "Raw Castella Eating with a Spoon" is on sale from June 28th at the Godiva limited shop.

Godiva, who has maintained the craftsmanship that has been put into making chocolate and sweets since its establishment, has created a new monthly sweets selection with chefs who are active in various parts of Japan. It was born from the idea that "I want you to enjoy the feeling of traveling around the world with new sweets that are exciting every month, and to deliver happiness." We develop original sweets with Godiva's arrangements in addition to standard sweets and popular gems.

Raw castella to eat with a spoon

The first product, "Raw Castella Eating with a Spoon," is a collaboration product with Nagasaki's original sweets, which was realized through a dialogue between students from Nagasaki Prefecture and Jerome Shushan, the president of Godiva Japan. The fresh castella, which is fluffy on the outside and moist on the inside, has a new texture, and when warmed, the texture of the inside is further enhanced.

The lineup includes two flavors: "raw castella chocolate eaten with a spoon" with a scent of cacao and "raw castella sesame eaten with a spoon" with a savory sesame seed. It is served in a cup so that it can be eaten with a spoon. The price is 648 yen (tax included).
