Sweets Koshien

An event that decides the No. 1 pastry chef for high school students, sponsored by Sankei Shimbun, based on the idea of "providing high school students with opportunities to express themselves and realize their dreams." A team of three high school students who like making sweets will compete for sweets techniques and ideas through planning and devising original cakes, cooking, and presentations according to the theme. The tournament advisor was Yukiko Omori, a French confectionery and cooking researcher, and the judges for the final tournament were Toshihiko Yoroizuka and Noriyuki Nagai, a pastry chef.


This is the first time that Tully's Coffee has participated in the sponsorship. We asked the three award-winning team thrills from Okayama Sanyo High School to plan the product, sample the prototype, and devise the product name, and this "Yuzu Glut" was born.

Yuzu glut

A sweet that is perfect for summer, incorporating various parts of yuzu with different textures. You can enjoy the whole yuzu with the mousse kneaded with the fruit of yuzu, which is rich in flavor, and the marmalade with yuzu peel, which adds sweetness and bitterness, to the plump jelly in the upper layer. Yogurt mousse is used in the lower layer, making it a refreshing and easy-to-eat dish after meals or for breakfast.
