Hiyajiru miso is made by blending two types with different aging periods to create a rich and savory taste. It is a local dish filled with the wisdom of southern Miyazaki, where you can eat cold and refreshing even when you have no appetite in the summer by adding rice or loosening the greasy grilled mackerel. In "Hiyajiru and Toriten set meal", crispy chicken thigh meat Toriten is combined. Toriten is eaten with ponzu, which has a refreshing acidity.
