On May 27, Nakau will release its longtime favorite seasonal staple, "Chicken Salt Udon" (except at some stores), which is scheduled to be discontinued in early July. Prices are (small) 350 yen and (regular) 490 yen (including tax).

Chicken Salt Udon" is a seasonal staple that has been on sale since 2007 and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The clear soup is based on Japanese-style dashi broth and is flavored with a salt sauce made from concentrated chicken oil and special seaweed salt.

This is an innovative dish that combines the "chicken salt flavor," which was not yet popular when it was first sold, with udon noodles as a soup, and has been a popular Nakau product for many years. The light, yet deep flavor makes you want to drink every last drop, and you can enjoy it with smooth udon noodles, tender chicken meat full of flavor, and crunchy green onions. The addition of the optional pepper garlic gives the dish a richer flavor, allowing you to enjoy a change in taste.

Take-out is also available. Nakau's official app allows customers to make reservations for take-out, and if they order in advance, they can pick up their order without waiting in the store.
