A simple recipe using perilla, "Ooba miso". It goes well with rice, bread, tofu, hot vegetables, etc. Can be stored in a tapper for about a week in the refrigerator. It is also recommended for consumption of large amounts of perilla.

About 20 large leaves 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, mirin, sugar and sake2 tablespoons of miso and sesame seeds
How to make
Wash the perilla leaves, drain them, and cut them into julienne.
Put sesame oil, mirin, sugar, sake, miso and sesame seeds in a frying pan and mix. As the miso melts and the sesame seeds blend in.

Heat a frying pan and cook for about 30 seconds after making it fluffy. Add the perilla leaves and mix, and when the perilla leaves are soft, turn off the heat and complete.


You can put it in a tapper and store it in the refrigerator for about a week.

What is its taste?
