This year's Mother's Day is May 9th. Everyday I have become more concerned about my health. Funabashiya's Japanese sweets "Mother's Day Anmitsu", which is additive-free and gentle on the body, will be released.
In addition to regular anmitsu, carnation-shaped strawberry agar, apricots, matcha yokan, and chewy white balls are topped with this colorful anmitsu for this period only. Funabashiya's special agar is a traditional method of boiling and hardening Amakusa (a type of seaweed). Compared to general agar that uses powdered agar, it has a richer aroma and a firm texture.
