The official website has announced that Toraya has started selling sweets related to the Tango no Sekku. Limited packages such as small yokan are available.

Small yokan "May streamer"

Small yokan "May nobori" is a limited-edition small yokan with irises, carp streamers, and helmets. The flavors are Ogura Yokan "Yoru no Ume", Matcha Yokan "Fresh Green", and Brown Sugar Yokan "Omokage".

It will be available until May 5th, but due to limited production, sales may end before or after. It can be purchased at all Toraya stores.

The seasonal yokan "Iris Matching" is a graceful color matching yokan reminiscent of the irises that are in bloom. It will be available until early May, but it may be discontinued due to limited production. Available at all stores.

"Kashiwa mochi"

"Kashiwamochi" is a confectionery made after Kashiwanoha is considered to be a lucky charm that leads to the permanence and prosperity of the family because it does not drop old leaves until it sprouts. You can choose the type of bean paste, "Koshi bean paste" or "Miso bean paste". In addition, the stores in Gotemba in the Kanto region are made of mochi, and the Kansai region is made of Uiro.

At stores in the Kanto region and Gotemba other than directly managed stores, "3 pieces" of bean paste, 2 pieces of bean paste and 2 pieces of miso bean paste are available. At stores in the Kansai region other than directly managed stores, a "5 piece" set of 5 bean pastes or 3 bean pastes and 2 miso bean pastes will be prepared. You can purchase from one at a directly managed store.

"Zongzi"

"Zongzi" is an item that was prepared in the Heian period as a ward off for the Tango no Sekku. Since the Edo period, it has been popular as a sweet confectionery made from kudzu and gairou dough.

In addition to "Yokan Zongzi" and "Narcissus Zongzi", Toraya also sells "Shirashita Sugar Zongzi", which is limited to stores in the Kanto region and Gotemba, and "Gai Zongzi", which is limited to stores in Nagoya and Kansai regions.
