Two types of coffee will be introduced in collaboration with Blue Bottle Coffee and the Poetry Society of America. From April 1st, "First Light Single Origin" and "Renewal Blend" will be sold in limited quantities at Blue Bottle Coffee cafes and pop-up stores nationwide, as well as official online stores.

After 2020, which was greatly influenced by Corona, Blue Bottle Coffee made 2021 awakening with a new sense and lifestyle, and asked the American Poetry Society for spring poetry. Combined with coffee.

First light

"First Light Single Origin" is made from Guatemalan coffee beans refined by a washed process and is characterized by its sweetness and depth like honey and dried fruits. It also combines the poems of Maya Phillips.

Renewal blend

"Renewal Blend" is based on the caramel-like rounded flavor of Colombian coffee beans refined by the washed process, and is accented with the fruity and slightly floral taste of Ethiopian coffee beans. The two types of coffee beans are roasted together and finished to give a taste like dark chocolate or brown sugar. The poems of Tina Chang are combined.

Hitomi Yuo is in charge of translating the poems. A collaboration with the American Poetry Society is scheduled for fall. In addition, a plan to evoke the five senses will be prepared throughout the four seasons of 2021.
