One cup of Kitakata ramen in Sakauchi is 500 yen

It was announced on the official website that the "Tohoku Reconstruction Festival" will be held in Kitakata Ramen Sakauchi. Kitakata ramen will be sold for 500 yen on March 25th and 26th as a cup to connect to the reconstruction of Tohoku, and 10 yen will be donated per cup.

Kitakata ramen, which is the target menu of the Tohoku Reconstruction Festival, is usually sold at 680 yen (tax included, same below) for 500 yen, and "Large" is usually sold at 830 yen for 650 yen.

Also, at some stores, you can get a 180 yen discount on the "two-meal souvenir ramen set," which includes noodles, soup, and ingredients. 90 yen discount for one meal.

The donation destination is "Sakura Line 311", a certified non-profit organization. An organization that works to plant cherry trees at the maximum reach of the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The maximum arrival point of the tsunami is about 170km on the line, and the purpose is to convey the memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake to posterity by planting cherry trees at 10m intervals and creating 17,000 rows of cherry blossom trees.

As of the end of November 2019, 1,700 trees have been planted. Although tree planting was not possible in 2020 due to the influence of the new coronavirus, activities have resumed since March 2021, and Sakauchi is also participating.
