Colomba, a traditional pastry eaten in Italy during Easter, will be sold at a total of 135 stores including Donk from March 24 to April 6.

According to Donk, colombas, which line the shelves of Italian bakeries and pastry stores as Easter approaches, mean "dove" in Italian. They are made in the shape of the bird, a symbol of resurrection and peace.

They have been produced and sold at Donk's for about 50 years, since the 1970s. Pandoro" is a fermented pastry of Italian origin, rich in butter and eggs, filled with orange peel, topped with almond paste and sugar ale, and baked until soft and fluffy. Pandoro means "golden bread," and as the name suggests, it is characterized by its golden color and meltingly soft texture. It is an ideal souvenir to bring back home during the festive season.

Donk's Italian pastries bear the brand name "San Remo. The brand is named after "Sanremo," a confectionery owned by Olindo Meneghin, an award-winning Italian pastry chef, and the traditional methods of pastry making under his direct supervision are followed.

Colombas are available in two sizes, large and small, and are priced as follows. All prices are tax included.
