We introduce a local recipe that will make you feel like you are on vacation even at home. This time, we made Saga's "Sicilian Rice. It is a dish of stir-fried meat and fresh vegetables served on rice, with mayonnaise to finish it off.
Saga "Sicilian Rice
Ingredients
200 g thinly sliced beef4 slices of lettuce
5 small tomatoes
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cooking sake
1 cm garlic tube
1 cup of rice
Mayonnaise to taste
2 teaspoons salad oil
Directions
1. wash lettuce and cut into bite-size pieces (or tear by hand). Cut small tomatoes in half. 2.2) Put salad oil in a frying pan and saute beef and garlic. When the meat changes color, add soy sauce, sugar and cooking sake.
3) Serve hot rice on a plate and put lettuce on top.
Place the fried beef on top of the lettuce and pour mayonnaise over it. Finish by topping with a small tomato on the side.

The combination of sweet and tangy beef and rich mayonnaise is the best! The rich, thick flavor goes well with the white rice. The fresh lettuce and tomatoes refresh the palate. The balance of meat, rice, and vegetables is so good that you will never get bored until the very last bite.Sicilian rice can be prepared in a jiffy and is a satisfying meal in a single dish, making it perfect for busy days. This time we used beef, but it is also delicious with pork or chicken.
