7-ELEVEN's coffee brand "7-ELEVEN Cafe" released a new baked confectionery product "Dutch Waffle" on February 16th. Handling at 7-Eleven, Tokyo.


"Dutch Waffle" is a baked confectionery with caramel sauce sandwiched in waffle dough. The waffle dough has a grid-like uneven pattern and is baked into a very thin round shape. The size is slightly larger than the palm of your hand, and the price is 138 yen (tax included).



In the Netherlands, it is a sweet called "Stroopwafel". The recommended way to eat it is to put it on a cup of hot coffee like a lid, warm it for about 1 minute, and melt the sauce inside.
