A limited number of new menu items, "Mantenboshi Strawberry Tart from Iga City, Mie Prefecture," will be on sale from February 22nd at each Kirfebon store. Appeared in the strawberry event "2021 VERY STRAWBERRY " to be held from February 22nd to 28th.


"Dodan Strawberry" is a strawberry cultivated in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, which is rich in nature in the mountains. It is a variety named after the "starry sky" seen from the production area. Strawberries have sweetness, acidity, flavor, and deliciousness as a result of the rapid cooling of the night due to the temperature difference between day and night, which is unique to the basin, and the greenhouse cultivation that is controlled so that photosynthesis is actively performed.

At Kirfebon, in order to take advantage of the characteristics of this strawberry, we simply make a tart that is combined with custard and puff pastry. In the image of a starry sky, the tart is decorated with strawberries. In addition, the crispy tart and custard enhance the deliciousness of the strawberry.
