"Broccoli" is a nutritious ingredient that can be used in various dishes. Boiled in boiling water is the standard, but if you don't have time to boil the water, or if you want to cook a little broccoli in a small bunch, we recommend steaming in the microwave!
How to steam broccoli in the microwave
Divide the washed broccoli into stems and bunches, and then cut into small bunches.
Put the cut broccoli (stems / tufts) in a heat-resistant plate or bowl and wrap it gently.

Heat in the microwave (500W) for 2-3 minutes. Take it out and check its softness, and if it is still hard, heat it for about 20 seconds until it becomes as soft as you like.

When it becomes soft, move it to a colander and let it cool down.

Of course, even with microwave oven steaming, the crisp texture and good flavor are fully utilized. Also, steaming can leave more nutrients than boiling. It's also easy and helpful to save the trouble of boiling water! Please use it as a time-saving technique on a busy day.
