Taiwan Melon Pan," which sells 10,000 units per month in Osaka, Kichijoji, and Nishiogi, will appear in Harajuku, Tokyo, on February 3. It will be sold at the Harajuku Food Factory, a select store for sweets and food, for a limited time until February 20.

The "Taiwan melon bread" is a staple menu item at Taiwanese food stalls called "pineapple oil. The freshly baked, crispy, warm melon bread is sandwiched between thick slices of melted butter. The sweetness of the melon bread combined with the richness and saltiness of the butter makes for a sweet and salty taste that is irresistible.

Taiwanese Cheese Melon Pan

In addition to the "Taiwan Melon Pan" (380 yen, tax not included, same as below), the lineup includes the "Taiwan Cheese Melon Pan" (450 yen), which is the standard Taiwan Melon Pan with rich cheese sandwiched in between. The melted cheese and butter give it a more "sinful" flavor.
